Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze daily production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to streamline workflows and increase manufacturing throughput.
- Perform root-cause analysis on production malfunctions and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
- Design, document, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production machinery and processes.
- Manage equipment performance metrics and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (Licensed Engineer preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on manufacturing optimization.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and production data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to report directly to management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CAD software is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
