Responsibility
- Develop and revise Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and Mechanical System Diagrams (MSD) using CAD and drafting software based on lead engineersâ sketches and redlines.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure drawings align with design specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Perform thorough reviews of process documentation to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Support lead engineers in optimizing process layouts for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational safety.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation as needed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files, ensuring version control and accessibility for team members.
- Participate in design reviews, meetings, and workshops to contribute technical insights and improve project outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in process design to enhance personal and team performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in process design, drafting, or a similar role, with a strong portfolio of PFD, P&ID, and MSD drawings.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartPlant P&ID) and drafting tools.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, process flow, and instrumentation systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ANSI, ISA, API, or ASME is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical sketches and redlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural team.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
