Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality, personalized meals for clients in a private villa setting, adhering to dietary preferences, allergies, and cultural requirements.
- Design and update weekly or monthly meal plans, incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients and seasonal specialties.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, grocery shopping, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their culinary preferences and adjust menus accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Present dishes with artistic flair, paying attention to plating and garnishing for an elevated dining experience.
- Handle special requests, such as themed dinners, private events, or dietary-specific meal prep (e.g., vegan, keto, gluten-free).
- Stay updated on culinary trends, local ingredients, and innovative cooking techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Personal Chef, Private Chef, or Meal Prep Specialist, preferably in a luxury hospitality or villa setting.
- Formal culinary training from a recognized institution or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong knowledge of international cuisines, with a focus on Indonesian, Western, and health-conscious cooking.
- Excellent palate and ability to balance flavors, textures, and presentation.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions, food allergies, and special dietary needs (e.g., halal, vegetarian, pescatarian).
- High standards of cleanliness, organization, and time management.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate client needs.
