Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Manage cash transactions, process payments, and handle daily sales reports accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu offerings.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and tracking usage of coffee beans, syrups, and other ingredients.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry (preferred but not required).
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and trends.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently when needed.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
