Responsibility
- Architect and develop scalable distributed systems for high-volume financial transactions.
- Design fault-tolerant, low-latency solutions using modern technologies (e.g., Kafka, gRPC, microservices).
- Lead performance optimization and capacity planning for mission-critical systems.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure robust, audit-ready implementations.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (e.g., Rust, Go, Kubernetes) to enhance system reliability.
- Partner with product managers to translate business needs into technical roadmaps.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in distributed systems.
- Expertise in Java, Go, or Rust and distributed frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka, Akka).
- Deep understanding of consensus algorithms (Paxos, Raft) and distributed databases.
- Proven track record of scaling systems to handle millions of requests per second.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong background in system design, performance tuning, and observability.
- Familiarity with financial services (payments, trading, or risk systems) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
