Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Stay updated with emerging threats and vulnerabilities, recommending proactive measures.
- Automate security processes using scripting and DevSecOps tools.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for internal teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application security, DevSecOps, or cloud security roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and security best practices.
- Experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, WAF, and SIEM solutions.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Certified Security) are a plus.
