Responsibility
- Lead the RF/microwave design strategy for photonic and semiconductor products, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
- Serve as the top technical authority on RF/EM simulation, providing expert guidance on design, testing, and optimization.
- Develop and validate high-frequency circuit designs, including amplifiers, filters, mixers, and antennas, for next-gen applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., photonics, semiconductor, and manufacturing) to integrate RF solutions into end products.
- Drive innovation in RF modeling and simulation using industry-leading tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS, CST, ADS).
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and characterization of RF components to ensure performance meets specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in RF, microwave, and photonic technologies, and recommend strategic advancements.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or a related field with a focus on RF/microwave design.
- 10+ years of experience in RF/microwave engineering, with a proven track record in semiconductor or photonic product development.
- Expertise in RF/EM simulation tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, Keysight ADS).
- Deep understanding of high-frequency circuit design, including passive/active components, transmission lines, and impedance matching.
- Experience with photonic integration and co-design of RF-photonic systems is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex RF challenges.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes and their impact on RF performance is desirable.
