Responsibility
- Lead and supervise high-tension (HT) electrical operations, including installation, maintenance, and repairs of transformers, switchgears, and distribution systems.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC, PUB, or PLN regulations) and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of HT equipment to prevent downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineers, technicians, and contractors) to execute projects and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of electrical assets and reduce operational risks.
- Monitor energy consumption patterns and recommend efficiency improvements to optimize power distribution.
- Prepare detailed reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities for management review.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
Qualifications
- Valid HT Chargeman license (or equivalent certification) recognized in Indonesia or Malaysia.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-tension electrical operations, preferably in utility or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of HT electrical systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, and protection relays.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with safety protocols (e.g., lockout-tagout, arc flash protection) and regulatory requirements (e.g., PLN standards).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in field conditions and travel to various sites across Bali.
