Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize electrical and electronic subsystems for advanced microscopic imaging systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 60601).
- Lead PCB design, prototyping, and testing for high-precision hardware, including analog/digital circuits, power supplies, and sensor interfaces.
- Collaborate with software and optical engineering teams to integrate hardware-software interfaces and embedded firmware for seamless system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system failures, implementing root-cause analysis and corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Oversee the manufacturing and assembly of electrical components, working with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
- Document technical specifications, schematics, and test protocols to support regulatory submissions and IP protection.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in medical imaging, AI-driven diagnostics, and IoT-enabled devices to drive product innovation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on electrical engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical/electronic system design, preferably in medical devices, imaging systems, or precision instrumentation.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and simulation software (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers (STM32, Arduino), and FPGA development.
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, signal processing, and noise reduction techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, CE, UL) for medical or scientific equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex hardware-software interactions.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder collaboration.
