Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Define and own the long-term vision, roadmap, and OKRs for the merchant transaction platform, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives.
- Product Innovation: Identify and prioritize high-impact features and enhancements to improve transaction speed, security, and user experience.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with engineering, UX/UI, data science, and business teams to deliver scalable and customer-centric solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct competitive research and user insights to anticipate trends and drive product differentiation in the fintech space.
- Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and monitor platform performance, iterating based on data-driven insights to optimize conversion, retention, and revenue.
- Risk & Compliance: Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure the platform adheres to regional and global financial regulations.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the launch of new features, coordinating with marketing, sales, and customer support to maximize adoption.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in Product Management, with at least 3 years in a Principal/Lead role, preferably in fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of transaction platforms, APIs, payment gateways, and backend systems. Familiarity with SQL, A/B testing, and data analytics tools is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to C-suite executives.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering scalable, high-impact products.
- User-Centric Mindset: Passion for creating intuitive, seamless experiences for both merchants and end-users.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
