Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute test cases to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document software defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Perform regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Utilize modern testing tools and frameworks to automate testing processes where applicable.
- Analyze business requirements and user stories to ensure test coverage aligns with project goals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are advantageous.
