Responsibility
- Design, implement, and manage security measures to protect the organization's data and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address potential risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor security systems, analyze security logs, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into software development and system architecture.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees to foster a culture of security.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the organization remains ahead of potential risks.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and recovery from security breaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network and system security.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP).
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and security analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
