As a System Test Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying risks, optimizing testing processes, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. This contract position offers a competitive salary of $7,000 – $8,000 per month and the chance to work in a vibrant, innovative environment.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for large-scale software projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and protocols in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to identify testing requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Oversee the execution of functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
- Mentor and guide QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
- Analyze test results, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance testing processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in leading end-to-end testing for large-scale projects in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM) and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
