Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities using advanced tools and methodologies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with global best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews to identify gaps and recommend mitigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into business processes and IT systems.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity vigilance.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches or anomalies, documenting findings and remediation actions.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively enhance defenses.
- Assist in the design and implementation of security architectures, including firewalls, encryption, and access management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in information security, risk management, or IT compliance roles.
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Strong understanding of network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and secure coding practices.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2) and conducting audits.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a high degree of self-motivation and accountability.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
