Responsibility
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team in an acute hospital setting, ensuring high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the dispensing, compounding, and administration of medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs, including antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and streamline pharmacy workflows.
- Ensure compliance with local and international pharmacy regulations, policies, and quality assurance standards.
- Mentor and train junior pharmacists and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and budgeting for pharmaceutical supplies to maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in clinical rounds and provide expert advice on drug therapy and patient-specific treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Proven leadership experience in managing pharmacy teams and operations.
- Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices, pharmacokinetics, and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy management software.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
