Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized rehabilitation plans for musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric conditions.
- Design and implement evidence-based physiotherapy programs, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities like electrotherapy.
- Provide specialized care for stroke rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation, focusing on mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, occupational therapists, etc.) to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and long-term wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with AHPC and local regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy through continuous professional development and training.
- Participate in community outreach and health promotion initiatives to raise awareness about rehabilitation services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist (AHPC registration or equivalent international certification).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal (MSK), neurological, or geriatric rehabilitation.
- Proven expertise in assessing and treating conditions such as stroke, spinal injuries, arthritis, and post-surgical recovery.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and assistive devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse patient needs in fast-paced settings.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
