Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive ICT design strategies for intelligent building solutions, aligning with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead the technical vision for smart building projects, including IoT integration, network infrastructure, and automation systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless ICT integration into building designs.
- Design and oversee the deployment of scalable, secure, and future-proof ICT systems, including data centers, VoIP, and wireless networks.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for ICT solutions, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in ICT design principles and emerging technologies.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., ISO, IEEE, BICSI) for ICT infrastructure.
- Drive innovation by researching and adopting next-gen technologies such as AI, edge computing, and digital twins.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in ICT design, with a focus on smart buildings, IoT, or critical infrastructure.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale ICT projects from concept to implementation.
- Expertise in network design (LAN/WAN, fiber optics, wireless), cybersecurity, and cloud integration.
- Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD tools for ICT planning.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, EN 50173, LEED for smart buildings).
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Certifications such as CCNA, RCDD, or CISSP are a plus.
