Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design of Power and Automation systems, ensuring alignment with Class, industry standards, and technical specifications.
- Develop and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control system architectures for marine, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, software, project management) to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and compliance audits for electrical designs.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and validation of electrical systems to ensure operational reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in problem-solving and innovation.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies to clarify requirements and obtain approvals.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in power distribution, automation, and smart grids to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; PE (Professional Engineer) license is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Principal/Senior level).
- Proven expertise in power system design, automation (PLC/SCADA), and marine/industrial electrical standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, ABS, DNV).
- Strong proficiency in ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar design tools.
- Experience with project management (budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation) for large-scale electrical projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices (e.g., energy efficiency, renewable integration) is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia or travel as required for project needs.
