Responsibility
- Lead the design, simulation, and verification of high-reliability Analog ICs for Rad Hard applications, including op-amps, ADCs, DACs, and power management circuits.
- Develop and optimize mixed-signal blocks for radiation-tolerant environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD, ESCC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (layout, verification, test) to deliver first-pass silicon success.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in analog design methodologies and best practices.
- Drive innovation in circuit topology, device modeling, and EDA tool flows to enhance performance and reliability.
- Support product definition, feasibility studies, and customer interactions for custom Rad Hard solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in semiconductor technology, radiation effects, and mitigation techniques.
- Document design specifications, test plans, and silicon evaluation reports with meticulous attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering (PhD preferred) with 10+ years of experience in Analog IC design.
- Proven expertise in Rad Hard IC design, including experience with total ionizing dose (TID), single-event effects (SEE), and latch-up mitigation.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Spectre, ADE, and Virtuoso for schematic capture, simulation, and layout supervision.
- Strong background in CMOS, BiCMOS, or SOI processes, with familiarity in high-voltage or high-reliability nodes.
- Demonstrated success in taking designs from concept to production, including silicon validation and debugging.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex circuit-level and system-level issues.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders and customers.
- Experience with DO-254, MIL-STD-883, or ESCC qualifications is a plus.
