The Institute of Mental Health is seeking a Principal Case Manager to lead our mental health initiatives in Bali. Responsibility

  • Lead and supervise a team of case managers, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of care.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive case management programs tailored to the needs of individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans.
  • Advocate for clients’ rights and access to resources, including housing, employment, legal support, and community services.
  • Monitor and assess program effectiveness, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Institute, government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners to expand service reach and impact.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies in all case management activities.
  • Provide crisis intervention and high-level case consultations for complex or high-risk situations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field; a PhD or PsyD is a plus.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in case management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven expertise in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international mental health laws, ethics, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in multicultural or international settings is highly desirable.
  • Certification in case management (e.g., CCM, ACM) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
