Responsibility
- Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and enhance the learning experience.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, field trips, and school events to enrich student development.
- Communicate effectively with parents to discuss student performance, behavior, and areas for improvement.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods, including technology and hands-on activities, to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Uphold school policies, values, and codes of conduct while promoting empathy, respect, and cultural awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field (Masterās degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in primary education or international schools.
- Strong command of English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is beneficial but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to create dynamic, student-centered lesson plans and manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Familiarity with modern educational technologies and tools (e.g., Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards).
- Willingness to adapt to a multicultural environment and embrace Baliās unique cultural context.
