Responsibility
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Faculty of Visual Communication Design (DKV) and Architecture.
- Develop and implement academic programs, curricula, and policies that align with industry trends and educational standards.
- Foster a culture of research, innovation, and excellence among faculty members and students.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, alumni, and other stakeholders to enhance collaboration and opportunities.
- Oversee faculty recruitment, development, and performance evaluation to ensure a high-quality academic team.
- Manage the faculty's budget, resources, and administrative operations effectively.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and initiatives that enhance the faculty's impact and visibility.
- Represent the faculty at academic conferences, industry events, and other relevant forums.
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Visual Communication Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Extensive academic and administrative experience in higher education, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of academic excellence, research, and publication in relevant fields.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in curriculum development, accreditation, and academic program management.
- Familiarity with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in DKV and Architecture.
