Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons for primary and secondary students in alignment with curriculum standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and centre staff to develop innovative teaching strategies and enrichment programs.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and productive learning atmosphere for all students.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student performance, challenges, and achievements.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent teaching certification).
- Proven experience teaching primary or secondary-level mathematics, preferably in a classroom or enrichment centre setting.
- Strong understanding of math curriculum standards and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a growth mindset in students.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving educational needs.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia, and embrace the local culture and lifestyle.
