Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mandarin-language lessons for kindergarten students (ages 3-6) using play-based and structured learning approaches.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and social-emotional growth.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with MyGeniusās bilingual curriculum and educational standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and parents to create a cohesive learning community.
- Organize and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and development milestones.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and integrate innovative teaching methods.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) with strong communication skills in English.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching kindergarten or early childhood education (preferred).
- Passion for working with young children and a deep understanding of child development principles.
- Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and learning materials.
- Strong classroom management skills and patience in handling diverse learning needs.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Certification in early childhood education (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia) is a plus.
