Responsibility
- Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with our curriculum framework and learning objectives
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play
- Foster children's social-emotional development, including conflict resolution, self-regulation, and positive peer interactions
- Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and identify individual learning needs
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's development, progress, and daily activities
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure a cohesive learning experience for all children
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with local regulations and school policies
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
- Contribute to school events, parent-teacher conferences, and community engagement activities
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children (2-6 years old) in a classroom setting
- Strong understanding of child development theories and early learning frameworks (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different locations across Bali as needed
- Valid work permit for Indonesia (or ability to obtain one)
