Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective Chinese language lessons aligned with curriculum standards for students of varying proficiency levels.
- Provide student care support, including supervision, mentorship, and guidance on academic and personal development.
- Develop and implement student-centric lesson plans that incorporate interactive and innovative teaching methods.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning environment that fosters teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, cultural events, and school programs to enhance student engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral observations.
- Adhere to school policies and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent teaching certification).
- Proven experience as a Chinese language teacher or in student care roles, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) with strong English communication skills.
- Passion for student development and a patient, empathetic approach to teaching young learners.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies, including digital tools and interactive learning techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, or Mandarin teaching credentials) is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced educational environment.
