This is your chance to trade the conventional classroom for Bali’s breathtaking landscapes—from lush jungles to pristine beaches. As an instructor, you’ll design and deliver engaging outdoor programs that foster teamwork, resilience, and environmental stewardship. Whether leading hiking expeditions, survival skills workshops, or eco-awareness activities, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping confident, nature-connected individuals.

Ideal for adventurous educators, outdoor enthusiasts, or certified guides, this contract role offers flexible scheduling, competitive hourly rates, and the opportunity to work in some of Bali’s most iconic locations. Join us in creating unforgettable learning journeys where every day is an adventure!

Responsibility

  • Design and deliver outdoor education programs tailored to diverse age groups, aligning with safety and learning objectives.
  • Lead group activities such as hiking, orienteering, team-building exercises, and environmental workshops.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of participants by adhering to risk management protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Educate participants on local ecology, sustainability, and Leave No Trace principles.
  • Collaborate with the program coordinator to develop curriculum and adapt activities based on group dynamics and weather conditions.
  • Maintain and inspect outdoor equipment, ensuring all gear is functional and safe for use.
  • Provide first aid and crisis response when necessary, with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Document program outcomes, participant progress, and incident reports as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outdoor education, adventure guiding, or a related field (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
  • Certification in Wilderness First Aid (WFA), First Responder, or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of outdoor survival skills, navigation, and environmental science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse groups, including children and adults.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding activities in varying weather conditions.
  • Familiarity with Bali’s terrain, climate, and local regulations is a plus.
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to fostering eco-conscious behaviors.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during programs.
