Responsibility
- Conduct research on sustainable composite materials for coastal infrastructure applications.
- Develop and test new materials to enhance durability and environmental sustainability.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
- Assist in securing research funding through grant proposals and partnerships.
- Mentor junior researchers and students involved in the project.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all research activities.
- Contribute to the development of industry standards and best practices for sustainable materials.
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in research and development of composite materials.
- Strong background in coastal infrastructure and sustainability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with grant writing and securing research funding is a plus.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards is desirable.
