Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in finance-related subjects such as corporate finance, investment analysis, financial markets, and risk management.
- Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and assignments, in alignment with NBS academic standards.
- Assess student performance through examinations, projects, and assignments, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
- Foster an interactive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Stay current with industry trends and academic research to ensure course content remains relevant and cutting-edge.
- Collaborate with full-time faculty and administrative staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development activities as required.
- Uphold the academic integrity and reputation of Nanyang Business School in all teaching and student interactions.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A PhD or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is highly desirable.
- Proven teaching experience at the university level or significant industry experience in finance, banking, investment, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, theories, and practices, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to engage and motivate students through interactive and innovative teaching methods.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and platforms to support hybrid or online learning environments.
- Commitment to academic excellence, student success, and continuous professional development.
- Flexibility to teach weekday and/or weekend classes as per the academic schedule.
