Responsibility
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing individualized support to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to share insights on their child's development and foster a strong home-school connection.
- Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, daily activities, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the classroom.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent certification).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and play-based learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
- Ability to create a warm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.
- Familiarity with basic first aid and child safety protocols.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
