Responsibility

  • Assist Lead Teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
  • Provide attentive care and supervision to children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that stimulates curiosity.
  • Support daily classroom routines including meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding child progress and classroom activities.
  • Observe and document student behavior and developmental milestones as required by school policies.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, school events, and continuous professional development workshops.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent professional certificate in early childhood care (e.g., HCIC, ACEY).
  • Passionate about working with young children and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with both children and colleagues.
  • Reliable, patient, and able to work well in a collaborative team setting.
  • Prior experience in a preschool or childcare setting is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Good command of English to support curriculum delivery and parent communication.
  • Ability to commit to a consistent part-time work schedule.
