Responsibility

  • Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe workspace.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation.
  • Keep workstations, utensils, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Assist in basic cooking tasks, such as chopping, peeling, and marinating.
  • Monitor and rotate food stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Support the head chef and line cooks during peak service hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar kitchen role is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian cuisine or willingness to learn is an advantage.
