Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages with precision and consistency.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, and providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and blenders.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours.
- Educate customers about different coffee blends, brewing methods, and menu specialties.
- Handle cash transactions and manage the POS system accurately.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting supply needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about brewing techniques, flavor profiles, and industry trends.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as required.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food service is advantageous.
