Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc.) to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Manage cash transactions and handle POS systems accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and restock as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours.
- Uphold hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices for coffee preparation and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to stay updated on industry trends.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
