Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and cold brew, adhering to Simply Brew’s exacting standards.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend personalized coffee selections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and functional.
- Collaborate with the team to manage inventory, restock supplies, and minimize waste.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their experience.
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Assist in training new baristas and sharing best practices for coffee preparation and presentation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for menu improvements or seasonal specials.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume café or specialty coffee shop.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment maintenance, and latte art.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for coffee culture and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Bahasa) are a plus.
