Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and grinders, performing basic troubleshooting and reporting any technical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and industry best practices to enhance product knowledge and service quality.
- Assist in training new baristas and sharing expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of coffee equipment and maintenance is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
