Responsibility

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and standards.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines and grinders, performing basic troubleshooting and reporting any technical issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
  • Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and industry best practices to enhance product knowledge and service quality.
  • Assist in training new baristas and sharing expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of coffee equipment and maintenance is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
