Responsibility
- Operate and maintain precision machinery (e.g., CNC, lathes, milling machines) to produce high-quality components.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
- Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to meet specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Document production data, including output quantities, defects, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within manufacturing or engineering.
- Proficiency in operating precision machinery (CNC experience is a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and PPE requirements in a workshop environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal) for team collaboration.
