Responsibility
- Operate and maintain EDM sinker machines (e.g., Sodick, GF AgieCharmilles) to produce high-precision components.
- Set up and program Mitsui/AMADA NC/CNC machines for grinding and sinker EDM operations.
- Inspect finished parts using precision tools such as height gauges, micron-indicators, and optical comparators.
- Ensure all components meet strict tolerances of ±0.002mm and adhere to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM and grinding equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, inspections, and machine performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an EDM Operator or Machinist, with expertise in sinker EDM and grinding.
- Proficiency in operating Mitsui/AMADA NC/CNC machines and related software.
- Strong understanding of precision measurement tools (e.g., height gauges, optical comparators).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy components.
- Certification in machining or a related field is a plus.
