Responsibility
- Operate and maintain precision engineering machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform quality inspections and measurements using advanced tools (e.g., CMM, micrometers, calipers) to verify product specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in manufacturing processes to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and enhance productivity.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) in all operations.
- Document and report production data, deviations, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of machinery for new production runs.
- Participate in continuous training and upskilling programs to stay updated with industry advancements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in precision machining, CNC operations, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, or grinding equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for high-precision work.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
