Responsibility
- Operate conventional and CNC bending machines to produce precision metal parts according to engineering drawings and work orders.
- Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate part production.
- Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished parts using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Monitor machine operations to detect issues such as malfunctions or deviations in output quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Document production data, including batch numbers, measurements, and any deviations for traceability.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot technical challenges and improve processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or metal fabrication is a plus.
- Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in bending, pressing, or similar metalworking processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in operating industrial machinery.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-precision components.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine programming (if applicable).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to production schedules as needed.
