Responsibility
- Develop and execute material planning strategies to ensure seamless production operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize lead times.
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure on-time delivery of materials to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- Lead and mentor a team of material planners and coordinators to achieve operational goals.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to streamline supply chain processes.
- Implement best practices in inventory control and warehouse management.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate material status and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and stakeholder management.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management and mentorship.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations is a plus.
