Responsibility
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Conduct demand forecasting using historical data, market trends, and sales projections to anticipate future inventory needs.
- Monitor and manage stock replenishment processes, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to maintain seamless operations.
- Utilize ERP systems to track inventory movements, generate reports, and identify areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align inventory planning with business objectives and customer demand.
- Analyze inventory performance metrics and provide actionable insights to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process optimization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles and best practices is a plus.
