Responsibility
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on a play-based learning philosophy.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration.
- Communicate effectively in either English or Mandarin to support bilingual language development.
- Observe, assess, and document each child's progress and developmental milestones.
- Maintain regular and open communication with parents regarding their child’s growth and well-being.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to organize school events, excursions, and curriculum enhancements.
- Ensure all classroom activities adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) or equivalent recognized by ECDA.
- Valid L1 or L2 certification from the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
- Strong proficiency in English or Mandarin (Native or professional level).
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a belief in play-based education.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to classroom management.
