Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective Malay language lessons to students of varying proficiency levels.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and interactive activities, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and cultural exchange.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Organize and participate in school events, cultural celebrations, and extracurricular activities to promote Malay language and culture.
- Utilize multimedia and technology to create interactive and immersive learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and developmental milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Malay Language, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Proven experience teaching Malay as a second or foreign language, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
- Strong command of the Malay language (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies, including communicative language teaching (CLT) and task-based learning.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to cater to diverse learning needs and age groups.
- Passion for cultural exchange and a deep understanding of Malay traditions, literature, and history.
- Certification in teaching (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and commit to a full-time teaching position.
