Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to FMCG business needs, ensuring scalability and user-friendliness.
- Write and optimize DAX queries to extract, transform, and model complex datasets for actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain) to identify KPIs and data visualization requirements.
- Automate data pipelines and ETL processes to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
- Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of BI solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices for self-service analytics.
- Monitor performance metrics and iterate on dashboards to align with evolving business objectives.
- Stay updated on Power BI and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Engineer or similar role, with a focus on FMCG or retail analytics.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and integration from multiple sources (e.g., ERP, CRM).
- Experience with data modeling, star schemas, and performance optimization in Power BI.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or other cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver user-centric BI solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
