Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, and other computing devices.
  • Perform system upgrades, including RAM, storage, and component replacements.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, both in-person and remotely.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and performance checks to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and inventory of parts and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to recommend hardware/software solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Laptop Technician, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software (e.g., CrystalDiskInfo, HWMonitor, TeamViewer).
