Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision) to solve business problems.
- Lead end-to-end data science projects, from data collection and cleaning to model validation and production deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into scalable APIs and microservices.
- Optimize and fine-tune models for performance, accuracy, and scalability using Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling to uncover trends and insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI/ML trends (e.g., LLMs, generative AI) and evaluate their applicability to business needs.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and ethical AI standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on AI/ML applications.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
- Strong portfolio of ML projects (e.g., predictive modeling, NLP, recommendation systems).
- Familiarity with MLOps practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, A/B testing).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.
- Experience in finance, e-commerce, or SaaS industries is a plus.
