Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth web research to gather and verify data from diverse online sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts (e.g., Python, Selenium) to streamline data collection, scraping, and processing tasks.
- Design and optimize workflows to improve efficiency in data extraction, cleaning, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research needs and deliver tailored insights.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation tools, resolving issues to minimize downtime and errors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in web research and automation.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations summarizing findings for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and ethical research standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in web research, data scraping, or automation (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Puppeteer).
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for automation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Experience with APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
