Responsibility
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of port construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and government authorities to secure permits, approvals, and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and material sourcing for port infrastructure.
- Implement sustainability and safety protocols to ensure environmentally responsible and secure construction practices.
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Resolve technical, logistical, or operational challenges to maintain project momentum and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, local communities, and industry partners to support project success and company reputation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years specializing in port or maritime construction.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, port operations, and maritime regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and AutoCAD or BIM tools.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction laws, environmental standards, and labor regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to challenges, and drive innovative solutions.
