Responsibility
- Prepare and submit accurate tender documents, including bills of quantities, cost estimates, and commercial proposals.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis for construction projects, ensuring alignment with client budgets and market standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, engineers, contractors) to refine project scopes and specifications.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms and optimize project profitability.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for tender submissions.
- Monitor market trends in construction materials, labor costs, and regulatory changes to inform pricing strategies.
- Review and analyze contractual terms to ensure compliance and minimize financial exposure.
- Provide post-tender support, including contract administration and cost control during project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering and cost estimation for construction projects.
- Proven track record of successful tender submissions and contract negotiations in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, Candy, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, JCT) and local regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with a meticulous approach to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction market and its unique challenges is a plus.
